wake up the dog! was organized in Spring, 2003 by bassist Rand Ragan and guitarist Dennis Beck. Ragan also called upon lead singer David Crocker and drummer Allen McKenzie (musicians he has known for years and had worked with in past lives) to form what has become, essentially, a Classic Rock trio with vocalist. Guitar player Alan Parks, a veteran of the Jacksonville music scene, took over as lead guitarist on New Year's Eve, 2004 with a wide variety of styles and influences and an impressive arsenal of instruments. WUTD! is available for private parties and dance clubs in Southwest Georgia, with a following in the Albany-Americus area.
